En nuestra siguiente clase veremos los trazos básicos de la danza gitana oriental. Probablemente los conocerás con otro nombre ¡no hay nada nuevo bajo el sol!. Pero lo que es más importante es conocer el sentido de cada uno, sabiendo que quizás tengamos una idea o sentimiento propios para cada uno.
Como ya hemos hablado, los contenidos que aquí se presentan no son enciclopédicos ni comprobables. Sus fuentes provienen de la tradición oral de los pueblos Árabe y Rromaní , culturas principales que nutren esa expresión coreográfica. Otros rasgos resultan del imaginario colectivo cocinado a fuego lento, tras años de asistir a los descubrimientos de mis alumnas, mujeres mexicanas en su mayoría, a quienes esta danza ha transformado su manera de pensar y sentir el mundo.
Iremos revisando cada trazo e incluiremos muchos otros que aún estamos por descubrir. A cada uno de ellos le hemos dado un símbolo que aparecerá en la parte izquierda superior de tu pantalla. Intentemos familiarizarnos con ellos para que puedan ser útiles en las sesiones coreográficas.
En este blog iremos ordenando estos y todos los demás trazos que faltan para dedicarle a cada uno su propio espacio. Aquí irán apareciendo esta semana. In our next lesson we will see the basic lines of the Oriental Rromani dance. You probably know them by another name. There is nothing new under the sun! But what is more important is to know the meaning of each one that we could have our own special sense… and special thought of ours.
As we have told, contents presented here are not encyclopedic nor verifiable. Their sources come from the oral tradition of the Arab and Rromani cultures, main sources that nurture this choreographic expression. Other features come from our collective imagination, simmered for many years of attending the discoveries of my students, mostly Mexican women, whom this dance has transformed the way they think and feel the world.I’ve given to each one a symbol that appears at the top left of your screen. Try to become familiar with them so they can be useful in our upcoming choreographic sessions.
